Thomas for Altalamatox

Crazy random out-of-the-blue no-strings-attached fanart of a character I knew I was going to have to draw eventually after I saw him the first time.

I pretty much stalked 's profile for several days after that staring at her gallery, especially at this character, Tom, never leaving a comment and probably seeming sort of creepy, and after this I wonder if her next move will be to get a restraining order against me?



Oh, but I simply had to draw him! I mean, look at that hat! Look at that black coat! Look at those glowy blue bits! And he's generally got a grumpy look on his face that I adore. Because I've always just enjoyed grumpy characters.

_Cough.

Besides that, Altalamatox quickly became one of my favorite artists after the dozens of romps I took through her gallery and I gotta say she designs some of the best original characters I've ever seen on DeviantArt. On another note, this is the first time I've ever really seriously started and finished a digital painting in SAI. It's still pretty rough lookin' but I dunno...I was pretty pleased with it, even if his coat DOES look pretty stupid here.
